This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules governing acceptable and prohibited uses of the Echo Clone AI platform (echoclone.pk). It supplements our Terms & Conditions and applies to all users, including free and paid subscribers and API users. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
1. Permitted Uses
You may use Echo Clone AI for:
- Content creation: YouTube videos, podcasts, social media content, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar media
- E-learning & education: Course narration, educational videos, study materials
- Business communications: Marketing materials, explainer videos, corporate presentations, announcements
- Audiobooks & storytelling: Personal or commercial audiobook narration with appropriate rights
- Developer integrations: Embedding TTS into applications, bots, or automated workflows
- IVR & customer service: Phone menus, hold messages, automated responses
- Accessibility tools: Converting text to audio for visually impaired users or reading assistance
- Personal voice cloning: Cloning your own voice for content creation with your explicit consent
- Entertainment: Fiction, comedy, creative projects (clearly labelled as AI-generated)
- Research & development: Academic or professional research into voice technology
2. Prohibited Uses — Absolute Prohibitions
The following uses are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities:
2.1 Fraud & Impersonation
- Creating voice content to impersonate any real person without their explicit consent
- Using cloned voices to commit financial fraud, phishing, or social engineering attacks
- Generating audio to deceive others about the identity of the speaker
- Cloning voices of public figures, celebrities, or politicians to fabricate statements
- Using generated audio in scam calls, vishing (voice phishing), or robocall fraud
2.2 Non-Consensual Voice Cloning
- Cloning the voice of any person without their explicit, documented consent
- Using recordings obtained without the speaker's knowledge or permission
- Creating voice clones of minors under any circumstances
2.3 Disinformation & Manipulation
- Creating deepfake audio intended to deceive the public about real events or statements
- Generating propaganda, disinformation, or fabricated news content
- Producing content designed to manipulate elections, public opinion, or political processes
- Fabricating statements by political leaders, officials, or public figures
2.4 Harmful & Illegal Content
- Creating content that promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Generating hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability
- Producing content that sexualises or exploits minors in any form
- Creating audio for harassment, stalking, bullying, or intimidation campaigns
- Generating content that violates copyright or intellectual property laws
2.5 Platform Abuse
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or source code
- Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or excessively query the platform beyond normal usage
- Attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, or security controls
- Sharing API keys publicly or allowing unauthorised third parties to use your account
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the platform without our written permission
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or abuse the refund policy
3. Conditional Uses — Requires Care & Disclosure
The following uses are permitted but require appropriate disclosure and responsible handling:
- Satire & parody: Must be clearly labelled as satirical and not presented as real statements by real individuals
- Fictional characters: Voices resembling public figures in clearly fictional contexts are permitted if not presented as real
- AI-generated disclosure: When publishing AI-generated audio to public platforms, we strongly encourage labelling content as AI-generated where required by platform policies or law
- Sensitive topics: Content about health, legal, financial, or safety matters should include appropriate disclaimers
4. Voice Cloning Responsibility
By cloning any voice through Echo Clone AI, you acknowledge and accept full legal and ethical responsibility for:
- Ensuring you have the right to clone the voice
- The intended and actual use of the cloned voice
- Any harm caused by the misuse of cloned voice content
- Compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction regarding voice recording and AI-generated audio
Echo Clone AI maintains audit logs of voice cloning activity and may cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations into misuse.
5. Content Moderation & Enforcement
Echo Clone AI reserves the right to:
- Review, flag, and remove content that violates this AUP
- Suspend or permanently terminate accounts for policy violations
- Disable specific features for accounts showing patterns of abuse
- Report violations to relevant authorities where required by law
- Retain evidence of violations for legal proceedings
We operate a zero-tolerance policy for fraud, non-consensual voice cloning, and content that harms individuals or communities. Account terminations for serious violations are not eligible for refunds.
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is using Echo Clone AI in violation of this policy — particularly for fraud, impersonation, or non-consensual voice cloning — please report it immediately via WhatsApp:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate within 48 hours.
7. Updates to This Policy
As AI technology and applicable laws evolve, we will update this AUP accordingly. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
